A tank farm unit needed a maintenance report to carry out periodic annual works. Edge 3D had contacted them and showcased our capabilities to capture the site and create 3D BIM models for them to undertake maintenance. Edge 3D had saved their client's time and cost by 3D laser scanning technology as compared to the traditional methods of survey. 3D laser scanning eliminated any human errors which could occur while surveying and most importantly saved them time by capturing 10 storage tanks in the span of 10 working days.

Using 3D laser scanning technology Edge 3D successfully deliver to our Client the As-Built documentation and BIM models at a turnaround time which reduced the time taken by conventional methods by more than 1 month. Our Client was extremely satisfied. This also enabled them to execute their work having accurate data, which is accessible to them anytime and anywhere (remotely).
